BOSTON — Yankees No. 1 prospect Jasson Dominguez was optioned to Triple-A last Wednesday when his extended rehab assignment from Tommy John surgery ended because the big club is doing just fine with Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and Alex Verdugo making up its starting outfield.
Besides, Dominguez is still a 21-year-old kid who got to the big leagues last September with fewer than 300 minor-league games of experience.
