HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – We’re celebrating the 40th annual Best of the Class at WSAZ.
The tradition honors the best and the brightest students in our area.
One hundred three high schools were represented this year.
Valedictorians took a trip to Marshall University where they ate lunch with WSAZ on-air personalities in the Don Morris Room before we filmed them in their caps and gowns.
WSAZ spoke with these students about their big plans for the future.
“Next year, I’ll be attending Concord University and I will be in their biology program for the pre-physical therapy and physician assistant. I plan to go to either physical therapy school or physician assistant school afterwards,” said Sara Hendricks, a senior at Nicholas County High School.
