But it seems one woman hasn’t got the memo and is planning to wear a red too-tight fitting dress on her best friend’s wedding day.

Taking to social media, the young woman showed off the dress and asked others if it was appropriate for the wedding.

She revealed that the dress code for the evening was black tie/red carpet inspired.

“My best friend is getting married!!! Is this appropriate to wear to her black tie/red carpet wedding?” she asked.
