Women stays at a cancer hospitality house she helped inspired [Video]

HOLDEN, Maine (WABI) – Sarah’s House in Holden has been a beacon of comfort for Maine families battling cancer since 2014.

It was inspired by Sarah Robinson who Died from cancer in 2011.

She met Cleo Ramsdell while undergoing cancer treatment.

Lindsay Holmstrom, the President of the Board at Sarah’s House and Sarah’s twin sister said “Cleo actually made these little bracelets for Sarah and her daughter Morgan, who at the time was four years old and now is 18. But she gave them this little mother daughter kind of connection bracelet to both of them she went home and made them and brought them back, and it forever like cemented just this feeling of connection to her and so we we definitely feel like she will always be part of the story.”

Cleo was traveling 5 hours a day 5 days a week from Eastport to Brewer for her treatment back when she met Sarah.
