COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL) — With a new class of basic trainees graduating this weekend, the National Infantry Museum has opened the doors to a new soldier store.

The National Infantry Museum worked with the company Event Networks to redesign the store to reflect the sacrifice made and to thank military families. The store took just under a year to redesign and be ready to open.

Jeff Jablonski, the Vice President of Stores with the Event Network shared with WRBL the impact they want the store to have for the patrons coming from the graduation.

Jablonski says the store is hiring locally to further support the community.

The President of the National Infantry Foundation shared that they are looking forward to featuring local avenues and local artisans.

The National Infantry Foundation explained that the new soldier store is focused on providing the right product to everybody’s experience with both the infantry and on Fort Moore.
