Weave for Wellness – YWCA Weaving Programme (YMCA, SG Enable Collaboration) [Video]

Caregivers often give of themselves to care for their loved ones. But how will they care for their own well-being? 🤔

To answer this need, the YMCA and YWCA collaborated to provide caregivers of YMCA’s Club LITE a quick respite from their caregiving duties!

At the “Weave for Wellness” workshop, participants picked up the basics of weaving from YWCA’s Weaving Mums and experienced the therapeutic rhythm of weaving yarn with looms. 🧵

Inspired by their creativity and emotions, a new creation of colour took shape in shawls.

The caregivers were thrilled as they learned a new hobby and produced a product of love and care. Catch Part 2 of “Weave for Wellness” to see their beautiful creations! 🥰
