The BEST 5 Exercises for Recovery

When cancer survivors think about starting to exercise after cancer they often head in the wrong direction.🛑

I did exactly the same thing, so learn from my mistake.

You want so desperately to get back to the person that you were. Back to the boot camps, running half marathons, or to just get back on the peloton bike.

😑But this is the wrong idea.

To help with cancer recovery and reduce your risk of a cancer recurrence doing these types of high intensity exercises are not where you want to start.

Instead we have to be strategic. Here’s how.➡️

💥Save this post. Do you wanna come back to this information later.💥

Of course you have side effects from chemotherapy or cancer treatment that are holding you back. With strategic exercise we can get rid of a lot of the side effects – exhaustion, bone pain, hot flashes.

So these are my top five exercises for cancer survivors.👏🏼👏🏼

👙Swimming

The low impact helps with joint pain, it is great for women who have neuropathy, and will help keep your cardio levels up.

👟Walking

We want low intensity cardio and this is it. Walking is so accessible and you can start with just a few minutes a day.

💪🏻Strength training

So many women are intimidated by strength training but this is key for your cancer recovery and remission.

🧘‍♀️Stretching

The muscle and joint pain that women experience can be severe. Especially if you’re on drugs like tamoxifen, anastrozole, letrozole, or exemestane. A major step in tackling this joint pain is to include twice daily stretching.

🪢Skipping

To keep your bones healthy and strong – skipping is the perfect exercise.

But you don’t have to do all of these at one time start small. Pick one and start. We always want to build your exercise routine into what you love and what you enjoy.💫♥️

This is a great place to start. But if you really want an exercise plan that will have you free from the long chemo symptoms and is proven to reduce your risk of a cancer recurrence by up to 59%, then you need to Cancer Freedom Program.
