The annual Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis football game continues to serve a good cause [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis football game is Friday night and it continues to serve a good purpose.

The football game is the last time some players will put on the pads and that is an emotional night on the field.

But the impact and reason for the game makes it more than just a football game for the players, fans and coaches.

“I think the important part is knowing that you’re trying to help those that have the disease, the condition cystic fibrosis. It’s neat because you’re looking out for the betterment of mankind, I think that’s what’s neat about the game,” said Director, Jodi Mote.
