Swollen Lymph Nodes to Stage 4 Cancer – Alexandra | Hodgkin’s Lymphoma | The Patient Story

At just 29 years old, Alexandra was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma after noticing swollen lymph nodes. After going through a break up she started experiencing unexplained weight loss, night sweats, and thinning hair. After googling her symptoms, she noticed they were in line with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But after an ultrasound and blood work, doctors couldn’t find anything. It wasn’t until she got biopsy that revealed she had Hodgkin’s lymphoma, that had spread to her neck, lungs, and around the spleen.

In this cancer vlog, Alexandra unwraps the hardship of life taking an unexpected turn. She describes her chemotherapy side effects and how art kept her going every day.
