SuperValu have announced their expansion within the convenience meal sector with the acquisition of Clean Cut Meals by Musgrave.

SuperValu says that this market is growing rapidly across the country and Clean Cut Meals will add to their portfolio of ready meals.

Established in 2015, Clean Cut Meals is a leading healthy ready meal production company based in Galway.

They currently operate from a production kitchen facility and employ 20 staff.

SuperValu says that the firm is renowned for its commitment to nutritious and convenient high-quality meals and snacks, specialising in a range of products that cater to for consumers that seek out healthier choices.  

The business offers a range of meal plans including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options.

The menu changes every month to keep the range as fresh as possible and to keep up with customers’ demands.

With the acquisition, Clean Cut Meals is expected to increase its output significantly from thousands of meals prepared every week.
