Strategies for Coping with Cancer

Welcome to the Baddie 2 Baddie podcast, where we delve into real survivor stories and celebrate the resilience of women of color facing breast cancer.

In today’s episode, Coping Strategies, Tesha is joined by guests Jeanelle and Megan-Claire. Together, they discuss the importance of mental health and coping skills in dealing with breast cancer experiences, particularly for young women of color. Jeanelle and Megan-Claire share their personal journeys, experiences with misdiagnosis, treatment, coping mechanisms, and the value of finding support and community during their cancer journeys. They emphasize the importance of seeking the right therapist and doctor, intentional coping strategies, and the therapeutic value of journaling, painting, and finding humor in life’s challenges. Join us in this empowering and insightful conversation as we explore the strength, resilience, and community found in the face of cancer.
