Should MRD eradication be the goal when treating every patient with CLL? [Video]

Dima El-Sharkawi, MBBS, MA, PhD, MRCP, FRCPath, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, discusses the use of measurable residual disease (MRD) for predicting duration of response and guiding treatment decisions in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Dr El-Sharkawi highlights that the utility of MRD is treatment-, disease- and patient-specific and that MRD eradication should not be the primary goal for all patients.
