ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The safe transport of children and the use of car seats are always on the minds of parents no matter where they are.
In Aberdeen, parents, especially first-time parents, may get help with car seat situations.
At the Sanford Medical Center, they have someone who can assist young parents. The car seat service is available to everyone and operates during regular working hours Monday through Friday.
A simple phone call to Sanford Aberdeen will make assistance available as Sanford’s Family Life Educator Amanda Daniels outlined.
“Anybody, any caregiver, any provider that has any questions about installing a car seat for their child, or is their grandchild, whatever the situation is, they can come in and we can help them install their car seat. We can answer any questions that they may have,” Daniels said.
