Saints TE Juwan Johnson out indefinitely due to foot injury [Video]

NEW ORLEANS — According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson will be out indefinitely following scheduled foot surgery next week.

Johnson, who was said to have suffered a lower leg injury during the team’s mandatory minicamp practice on Wednesday, will be sidelined for “a while” said Schefter per a Saints source.

“Saints TE Juwan Johnson is scheduled to undergo foot surgery next week that will sideline him ‘a while,’ per source,” posted Schefter on X (formerly known as Twitter). “The hope and belief for now is that he will be back for the start of the season.”
