ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Cruising on the ultra-luxury Silversea Silver Nova ship is already designed to take the worry and stress out of a vacation, but after a long day of port excursions or ziplining through the Tongass National Forest, that little bit of extra physical relaxation is always welcomed.

The Otium Spa is one of those quiet, elegant spaces where you can get a variety of treatments, from acupressure to manicures, massages to facials.

“They request mostly of the massages,” said Janice, massage therapist on board the Silver Nova. “They’re most interested also in the massages, because after their flight, after the excursion roaming around everywhere, mostly people are tired, especially from walking. So mostly, the first thing that they want to do is to have a massage. But of course, they also don’t forget the skincare and the beauty.”
