Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Diagnosed With Pancreatic Cancer [Video]

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee has confirmed that she has pancreatic cancer and that she is undergoing treatment. 

In a statement, she said, “My doctors have confirmed my diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. I am currently undergoing treatment to battle this disease that impacts tens of thousands of Americans every year.” 

She continued, “I am confident that my doctor have developed the best possible plan to target my specific disease. The road ahead will not be easy, but I stand in faith that God will strengthen me.” 

Rep. Jackson Lee talked about her journey and the importance of early detection and having access to good quality healthcare. Although she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, Jackson Lee is not letting it stop her from raising awareness about the disease on her platforms.
