Its often called a silent killer amongst men, mental health. The numbers are alarming. According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, 1 in 10 men experience depression or anxiety. The study goes on to show less than half will receive treatment, and more than four times as many men, compared to women, die by suicide every year.In our series Protecting Our Peace, WDSU Anchor Darryl Forges spoke with Jonathan Everett, pastor for Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and therapist Dr. Dana Andrus, to identify the issues facing men, and what they can do to make changes.
