Davis was removed from Friday’s game against the Rockies after exhibiting concussion-like symptoms.

It’s unclear when exactly Davis might have suffered the injury, but he was replaced behind the dish by Yasmani Grandal ahead of the seventh inning. Davis is in the process of being evaluated by the Pirates‘ medical staff, and an update on his status should come in the near future.
