MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
The Kosten Foundation held the Kick It Pickleball tournament to bring awareness to pancreatic cancer and how the disease should be treated and detected.
“For many years, this disease was on the back burner,” one of the organizers said, citing that events like this one will help to raise awareness and give visibility to the illness.
The Kosten Foundation tournament is very proud of the work that they have done, and want to stress that if the illness is caught in early stages it can be treated.
