Phoenix cancer patient encourages being an advocate for yourself [Video]

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — May is National Women’s Health Month.  While it is imperative we all take our health seriously, one Phoenix-area woman has an important message if you are experiencing anything odd with your body, even if your doctor says nothing is wrong.

Robin Anderson is just one of those people who just puts a smile on your face no matter the day.

“I worked for Channel 3 and 5 for five years, almost six. I loved it. I loved working with everyone,” Anderson says.

She is a person full of life! When she worked at Arizona’s Family, she never seemed to have a bad day.

Years later, her life changed shortly after noticing something was off with her body.
