People rush to help save a man from an apparent overdose [Video]

An Albuquerque neighborhood helped a man who crashed along their street near Claremont and Madison. One of the people sent us the video as others worked to wake up the unconscious man, with what looks like drugs seen sitting on his lap. “It reminds me of the day I found my son,” said Sarah Nazorek, an advocate for Keep NM Alive. Nazorek remembers the scary experience when she saved her son from an overdose by using Narcan. “It demobilizes you. You lose your speech. My son lost hearing in one ear, and he couldn’t talk. It’s like he had this blank stare,” Nazorek said. She lost her son to fentanyl two years ago.
