Paceline Training Ride and Kickoff Celebration for PaceDay 2024 at Savannah River Brewing Company [Video]

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – It was a big day for a local organization dedicated to the fight against cancer.

Paceline is an organization that raises funds for cancer research. All proceeds go to the Georgia Cancer Center. Paceline has been around for six years and was founded with the Medical College of Georgia.

“We’ve got so many just first-time riders is don’t be intimidated by it,” said Troy Breitmann, Queensborough Bank Team. “You know we’ve got a ten-mile ride this morning, and a 30-mile ride, and the idea is, “Gosh, I can’t do ten miles. You know, get on a bike. Remember when you were a kid, and it’s not a race. It lowkey it’s really about gathering with like-minded people and trying to make a difference in the community.”
