P.U.N.T. offers free training to help families that are dealing with grief [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative is teaming up with the Erie County department of mental health for a one-day free training. The focus is on the best practices to help families through loss.

The training will be led by two of the nation’s top experts from the Dougy Center/National Center for Grieving Children & Families.

It will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Reikart House, 5000 Main Street, in Amherst. The event is free.

Last year, the event was a huge success, according to P.U.N.T. executive director Gwen Mysiak.
