A HOSPITAL in Dublin has restricted visiting hours following an outbreak of two major illnesses.
Tallaght Hospital has announced they are suspending all patient visits in circumstances of end of life care and critical illness due to an outbreak of Covid and Norovirus.
The hospital has said it made the decision in order to protect staff, patients and visitors.
In a statement, they said: “Please note that visiting hours have been restricted.
“This is in the interest of patient safety to protect your loved ones from exposure to COVID-19 & Norovirus, both of which are very prevalent in both the Hospital and community at the moment.
