Valve’s Gabe Newell is now almost unrecognisable after a new fitness regime, with shocked fans shocked saying, ‘It’s like a whole different person.’

Despite co-founding Valve in 1996, and going on to create Steam and classic games like Half-Life and Portal, Gabe Newell rarely puts himself in the spotlight.

Even so, he’s still one of the most well known industry figures, even if some fans suddenly find they almost can’t recognise him anymore.

A new photo of Newell is doing the rounds on social media, with fans in awe at his weight loss and how that’s changed his look.

His picture was posted on Reddit, with one post receiving 58,000 upvotes and over 2,000 comments, and fans almost can’t believe it’s him.
