Kirsty’s mysterious pain in her left side turned out to be the first sign of something far more serious. Despite repeated visits to the doctor and concerning test results, it wasn’t until a fall from her bicycle led to further investigation that Kirsty discovered she had an extremely rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer, known as squamous cell carcinoma.
