Meijer announces increased discount on milk for SNAP participants [Video]

Now, those eligible to participate in SNAP will receive 40 percent off of any brand or size of 1 percent or fat-free milk at Meijer. 

The discount will apply on milk purchases made online and in store at Meijer supercenters, neighborhood markets and Express locations. It will stay in effect until fall 2026. 

To get SNAP benefits, you must apply in the state you currently live and meet certain requirements, including income and resource limits.

Those who are found eligible will receive SNAP benefits on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, which functions like a debit card.
