Mammograms offered at Discount Drug Mart in Northeast Ohio [Video]

Mammograms are offered at no cost for insured people who have not had a mammogram for at least a year.

CLEVELAND — MetroHealth and Discount Drug Mart are teaming up to help people receive a preventative mammogram at several of the market chain’s Northeast Ohio locations throughout the summer and beyond.

“Mammograms save lives, but getting an appointment can sometimes be challenging,” Discount Drug Mart said in a news release.

The retailer is hosting MetroHealth’s mobile 3D Mammography Coach for multiple dates at five Discount Drug Mart locations. The company says the coach uses the same technology used at all MetroHealth locations that offer breast imaging services.

Mammograms are no cost for insured people who have not had a mammogram for at least a year. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, call 216-957-8848 or visit MetroHealth.
