Trooping the Colour: Smiling Kate joins Royals in parade

Lorraine Kelly had the perfect reaction to Princess Kate’s first public outing after confirming her cancer diagnosis, describing the Duchess of Cambridge as “absolutely beautiful”.

Speaking to Russell Myers, Royal Editor of the Daily Mirror, the ITV host first discussed Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’s “beautiful” Father’s Day tribute to Kate’s husband, Prince William.

The family photo, taken by Kate by the seaside, was released on Sunday following the Royal Family’s appearance at Trooping the Colour at Buckingham Palace on Saturday.

Lorraine said: “Great to see Princess Catherine out and about. And looking, I have to say, absolutely beautiful. She looked well! I know she’s not well, but she did look really stunning.”
