Berman, MD, both of the University of California, San Diego, consider how the post-hoc analyses of the CROSSFIRE trial comparing percutaneous irreversible electroporation (IRE) with SBRT for locally advanced pancreatic cancer, along with other ongoing clinical trials, will provide further understanding of the benefit of combining ablative therapy with immunotherapy.
