KU Health: New Quivira Campus prepares to open doors [Video]

OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) – The University of Kansas Health System Quivira Campus will soon provide all care needs for the southwest Kansas City region in one building.

The building, at West 151st Street and Quivira Road, will be two floors of all-around care for patients in the southwest Kansas City area.

The first floor will open for patients on June 18 with imagining equipment (MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and screening mammogram), orthopedic specialty care, urology care, a gym, and more. The second floor, with surgical equipment, is set to open in early 2025.

“This is state-of-the-art, it’s the greatest technology, it’s the greatest design for our growth and brings more access to our patients,” said the health system’s Southwest KC Market CEO Jason Hannagan.

A $90 million investment, just shy of 70,000 square feet, is a substantial investment for people needing care.
