Knoxville veteran-focused housing project needs some help [Video]

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Liberty Place, a Knoxville veteran-focused housing project, is asking the community for some help to fill its units with furniture.

Liberty Place is a project being headed up by Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation and several other groups and community leaders. It’s aimed at bringing 32 housing units for homeless or near-homeless veterans in the area.

Now, those at Liberty Place are hoping that community members can donate to support the project. By donating, those in Knoxville can make sure veterans moving into Liberty Place have all the things they’ll need, like towels, sheets, cookware and more.
