King Charles ‘Delighted’ Kate Middleton Is Attending Trooping the Colour [Video]

King Charles is “delighted” that Kate Middleton will be at Trooping the Colour alongside the royal family as she continues to undergo cancer treatment.

“His Majesty is delighted that The Princess is able to attend tomorrow’s events, and is much looking forward to all elements of the day,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said on June 14.

The Princess of Wales, 42, spoke to her father-in-law about her attendance at the monarch’s annual birthday parade on Saturday, June 15.

Princess Kate announced her plans to attend the event with a personal message about her health on Thursday. The update was significant as the first time the Princess of Wales has spoken out since she announced on March 22 that she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.
