Study finds strawberries may lower risk of heart disease
A new study by researchers at the Illinois Institute of Technology reveals strawberries lower heart disease risk by improving glucose control.
The study was small, just 36 women and 32 men but the results yielded some big hope for consuming strawberries to improve health.
The best results in study participants ages 20-62 came after they ate strawberries every day for four weeks.
They fared better than the control group who did not enjoy daily strawberries.
