Homecoming of Madison Marsh brings excitement, hope to Fort Smith [Video]

Madison Marsh said she couldn’t return to Fort Smith without visiting the place that helped mold her into what she is today. 40/29 News was there the moment that the first active duty, Miss America, arrived at Southside High School on Friday. Marsh had a chance to reflect on her time at the school and her love for the community. “I mean, I’ve been saying all day that winning Miss America has never been about me,” Marsh said. “It’s been about the people that are in my community, who have backed me and the people that we can impact. Everything that we do should always be for others.
