HONOLULU (Island News) — Hayley Chayney-Kane was crowned the new Miss Hawaii 2024 on Sunday night at the historic Hawaii Theatre.
16 delegates, representing various districts across the state, competed in multiple phases of competition including evening gown, private interview, talent, on-stage question, and health and fitness. In the end, Chayney-Kane, representing Waimanalo, stole the hearts of the judges and also walked away with the photogenic, social media, and talent awards. For her talent, Chayney-Kane danced hula and simultaneously sung a sweet rendition of “Aloha Wau Ia ‘Oe”, guided under the direction of her Kumu Hula, Tracie Lopes.
