THE lead singer of the rock band Firehouse, CJ Snare, has died.
The musician‘s daughter Heather announced that her father died on Thursday afternoon.
Snare, 64, had a long battle with stage 4 colon cancer and ultimately died from a heart attack, according to TMZ.
He had helped form the hard rock band in 1987 after his previous band, Maxx Warrior, broke up.
Snare was with the band for almost 40 years until his death.
C.J. played keyboards and sang on all seven of the group’s albums.
Their self-titles debut album went double platinum in the United States and gold in Canada, Japan, and Singapore.
