King Charles‘ birthday parade ended with a Trooping the Colour highlight: the royal family’s Buckingham Palace balcony appearance!
Members of the royal family gathered on June 15 for the official celebrations of the monarch’s birthday. After the procession through London, the 75-year-old King took the royal salute and inspected the troops at Horse Guard’s Parade before returning to Buckingham Palace to watch a flypast performed by the Royal Air Force.
Joining King Charles for the biggest photo op of the day on the palace’s balcony was his wife, Queen Camilla.
The monarch’s eldest son and heir, Prince William, also stood on the balcony after riding on horseback in the procession joined by his children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
