Caroline Stanbury revealed that she used Ozempic to lose the 18 lbs. she gained while undergoing in vitro fertilization. 

On June 17, ​The Real Housewives of Dubai star spoke to Us Weekly about her decision to take Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes. 

It’s one of the brand names for semaglutide — also known as Wegovy — which works in the brain to impact satiety. Over the past year it has become very popular for weight loss in and out of Hollywood.

“After 45, it becomes very, very hard to lose weight — and I’m not lazy,” the 48-year-old told the outlet. “I’m not lying at home doing nothing. I go to the gym, I have a trainer, I walk all the time [and] I’m busy.”
