I don’t want to be “BRAVE”…

This isn’t what I chose.
This isn’t what I wanted.
But this is what I MUST DO.

After being diagnosed with cancer, I so desperately wanted my life to go back to the way it was. Normal. Before Cancer.

I had a great life. I was healthy, fit, and had a wonderful family. Then – boom – cancer.

It was a shock (to say the least).

But I knew I had to get through treatment. If I just did that – got through surgery and chemo – then I could get back to living life as it once was. I could get back to me. Put this all in the past.

Except when I got to the end of treatment – I completely did not recognize myself.

It was awful. I started to feel like my dream of getting my old life back was fading away. It wasn’t going to be possible.

But then – I started a cancer recovery plan! That changed everything.

All of a sudden I had a clear path on how to recover from cancer. What to eat, mindset recovery, and how to move my body. All this so I could feel and look like myself again.

And now I do! I’m the healthiest I have ever been in my life.
