Business attracts audience with natural herbal medicine [Video]

(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — Tucked off a side street, with a stream of steady water flowing behind it, Anna’s Apothecary is open for business.

Two sisters- Anna Foster and Sarah Berry- are at work in the backroom of the building. “We’re putting together one of our popular tea blends called the ‘Super Immunitea,” one says while the other mixes the various herbs.

Anna’s Apothecary has been in business for around 12 years with a storefront housed inside a former church. “I believe the building is around 155 years old at this point,” Berry said.

The duo is crafting tinctures, salves, tonics, and toners.

“This is rose hips. Rose hips are very high in vitamin C,” Foster says overlooking a recipe.

“An apothecary is a place of natural herbal medicine,” Foster explains while standing in front of a wall of herbs that reaches to the ceiling of the building.
