HONOLULU (Island News) — Thousands of Hawaii’s caregivers are set to get a small raise this year. A bill that passed at the Legislature raises the amount of state funding the state can pay community-based care homes. It’s awaiting the Governor’s signature.
HB2216 HD2 increases the cap on state supplemental payments for type I adult residential care homes, licensed developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, certified adult foster homes, and type II adult residential care homes.
