For the first time in four and a half months, Ben Gravy is back in the water. Earlier this year, the YouTuber and novelty wave surfer detached his bicep muscle, necessitating a complete bicep tendon repair surgery. After spending many weeks out of the water recovering, Gravy is finally celebrating a return to the waves.
“There were times during this process that I truly felt like I wasn’t going to make it,” said Gravy in a recent post to his YouTube channel. “When the doctor dropped the hammer on me and said five to six months before I’d be touching the water again, my heart fell out of my chest.
