‘Be in the Know Campaign’ provides drug abuse awareness | News [Video]

ROCHESTER, Minn. – According to Olmsted County Public Health Services and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety- four in ten of our county’s residents use at least one type of substance regularly. To address this- Olmsted County created an initiative to help inform residents of the dangers of substance abuse. 

It’s called the ‘Be in the Know Campaign’ and features a series of digital ads aimed to reach a variety of people and inform them of the dangers of drugs. All of this information is located at https://beintheknowolmsted.com/  

The county was inspired to create this campaign after seeing the increase in ER visits and drug overdose deaths within our area over the past few years.
