Baba Ramdev’s Second Apology Rejected By SC: ‘Be Ready To Face Action In Contempt Case’ [Video]

Patanjali Misleading Ads Case: The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected another apology affidavit submitted by Yoga guru and Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev and company MD Balkrishna in Patanjali misleading ads case. Rejecting the apologies for the second time, the top court said that it does not want to be so generous in the case as “it is not blind” while noting that Ramdev and Balkrishna first sent the apology affidavit to media as “they believe in publicity”. The top court asked Patanjali to be ready to face action in a contempt case. 

“Apology is on paper. Their back is against the wall. We decline to accept this, we consider it a deliberate violation of undertaking. Be ready for something next to rejection of affidavit,” Justice Hima Kohli said as quoted by Live Law.
