Atlanta Braves and Make-A-Wish help young cancer survivors dream come true [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Like many little boys, 11-year-old Charlie Prince wants to be a professional baseball player when he grows up.

His mom, Amanda Prince, says her son loves his hometown team, the Atlanta Braves. He never misses a game on TV.

“He watches all the games. He knows all the stats. He eats and breathes baseball,” Amanda said.

On Wednesday, one of Charlie’s wildest dreams came true when he got to meet several players on the Braves roster. It was all made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“This is the coolest thing I’ve ever done,” Charlie said after playing catch with Braves center fielder Michael Harris.

Charlie is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed with leukemia when he was in kindergarten. But now, he’s cancer-free and has been looking forward to his wish for years.
