ABC 12 spoke with state political experts on what Monday’s Supreme Court immunity ruling means for Trump, the upcoming election and the future.
FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – At the heart of Trump vs. the U.S. was a question that has not been answered by the high court until now.
Is a president immune for actions take during their tenure in the oval office?
The supreme court said yes, but only for official acts.
ABC 12 spoke with state political experts on what this means for Trump, the upcoming election and the future.
“Official acts are immune from criminal prosecution however his unofficial acts are not immune so the real question that remains to be seen, and worked out in the weeks or months to come is what do they mean by an official act versus non official act,” said retired Mott Community College Political Science Professor Paul Rozycki.
