Apple CEO Tim Cook stated on Saturday that “people are often emotional the first time they try it” because of the dramatic effects of the company’s virtual reality (VR) headset, the Vision Pro. His remarks follow Apple’s receipt of the prestigious Black Pencil award from the D&AD Awards, which is considered the ‘Pinnacle of the creative industry’.
The business was recognised for the way its visionOS (operating system) for Vision Pro was designed. Cook praised the Apple Design Team for winning this prestigious prize in a post on X.
“Apple Vision Pro is the result of years of innovation from our engineering and design teams. People are frequently moved when they try it for the first time because the outcome is so powerful. I’ve personally witnessed it,” he wrote.
Many commended Cook …
