3-year-old battling brain cancer receives a helping hand [Video]

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A little girl in a big battle with brain cancer, Three-year-old Hazel Brown has been traveling to Michigan for treatment and soon will be heading to Seattle for a clinical trial. Through it all, her parents have been relying on their faith and community support, now, 13 Action News and the Yark Automotive Group are giving them a helping hand.

Hazel Brown is battling a rare form of brain cancer but, it does not stop her from enjoying the things she loves like blue Lake Erie Monster ice cream.

On July 3, 2023, Hazel Brown was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, a highly aggressive and difficult-to-treat pediatric brain cancer.
